Akshay Kumar interacts with locals for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha!

The movie will release on Friday. I don't know from where this news comes that the film has got 8 cuts...

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on Wednesday said his forthcoming drama "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" has been given three verbal cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), contrary to media reports.

"I read somewhere that we have been given eight or nine cuts". I feel lucky that I get content-driven films which force me out of my comfort zone as a city girl. So, Arjun took to Instagram to share with fans his love for the toilet! "I think the kind of films that are being appreciated today, the kind of films that are high on content these days, are heartland stories". As per reports, the CBFC has demanded nearly 8 verbal cuts in the film, before granting it a U/A certificate. Dressed in all-black outfits, actors Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher wrapped up all their love for the campaign on clean toilets in 20 minutes flat.

The Padmavati actor then explains her convincingly that Toilet Ek Prem Katha is releasing on August 11, which talks about the open defecation in India.

With the lukewarm response to Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's "Jab Harry Met Sejal", the box office could see Akshay Kumar's "Toilet Ek Prem Katha" steal the crown. "I am lucky that I got these films". "I don't take much stress and try to remain happy as much as I can". The film, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, deals with the need of sanitization and addresses the problem of open defecation in the country.
