Sean Spicer reportedly turns down Dancing With The Stars

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer's latest steps in his new career direction will apparently require no fancy dance moves.

Sources tell the site that Spicer turned down an offer to appear on the reality show because he anticipates having an "overwhelming number of commitments in the fall". Nothing has been finalized yet. He's also met with talent agencies and is reportedly being courted by ABC to join the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars.

It looks like Sean Spicer will be finding his way back into the news pretty soon.

According to sources close to Spicer, he wouldn't have fared well anyway - "He's not a good dancer", they told TMZ.

Sean Spicer still plans to leave the White House in late August, a senior White House official said on Tuesday, ending speculation that he might stay on after the firing of former communications director Anthony Scaramucci.

With Barnett now on his side, a series of lucrative deals that have followed presidents and senior White House advisers from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to the private sector seem to be on the table for Spicer.

The day after he announced his resignation, he was seen in New York City meeting with executives from the various television networks, where the possibility of him becoming a contestant of Dancing with the Stars was broached.

ET has learned that Spicer recently signed with powerhouse lawyer Bob Barnett, who is representing him for numerous projects including TV deals.
