How Dragon Ball FighterZ Could Come to the Nintendo Switch

At EVO 2017, Bandai Namco showed off a brand new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ and announced a beta. In the reveal trailer, seen above, Trunks can be seen fighting other popular Dragon Ball Z characters, including Vegeta and Frieza.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ beta launch, as well as a new addition to the roster of playable characters, has been announced during this year's Evolution Championship Series. Registrations will open on July 26th, allowing players on PS4 and Xbox One (no PC beta at this time) to try to get in and play the highly anticipated fighter. Betas can help developers find bugs and make balance changes before shipping a game, but they can also serve to help build up hype.

To bring those who haven't been updated on the roster up to speed, GameSpot created an online gallery of the Dragon Ball FighterZ characters that have been confirmed so far.

Speaking with Destructoid at the EVO Championships, Tomoko Hiroki suggested that there's the possibility of Dragon Ball FighterZ releasing on Switch.

It's excellent to see that the game has even included future Trunk's signature move "Burning Attack" in ideal fashion (seen at the 19-second mark in the trailer).

You can see Trunks in action in the trailer above, which shows him using plenty of moves that will be familiar to any Dragon Ball fans. One of these two characters might actually just be future Trunks.

Maybe Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 is a prime example of this.
