Buhari recuperating fast, will be back shortly - Osinbajo

The acting president says Buhari was in "very good spirits" and "recuperating very quickly".

The governor insisted that the President should resign and attend to his failing health.

Fayose, however, said he was not praying for the President to die.

Fayose spoke to newsmen on Wednesday that the reported visit of Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo to Buhari in London was fake.

The former minister, in a series of tweets posted on Thursday, also called on Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to stop lying, because "Nigerians have a right to know the truth".

A youth group based in Borno, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), is set to launch a book on the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

Karimi said the Senate had done its duty by confirming the two ministers and that Prof Osinbajo was failing to exercise his constitutional powers on the matter by refusing to swear-in the ministers.

'I have made the allegations and I have said it expressly that we are in the age of technology.

"I call on the cabal to stop the cover up and show us our President".

"The pictures they are posting on social media are pictures taken long time ago".

"I can not tell you when the changes will be effected, but the Cabinet shake-up came up as an item between the two leaders", the source said.

"The Acting President visiting the President that has left this country for about 60 days or more can not show evidence of the meeting".

Besides, HURIWA said the health challenges of the president and the secrecy surrounding his exact condition has thrown a spanner in the wheel of the seamless enforcement of the Freedom of Information Act.

"I wasn't saying that we don't want him to return, but the claim of the acting President is not true".

Osinbajo's spokesman did not give a reason for the visit and declined to comment when asked. Both the President and his vice do not have what it takes to run the country.

He also urged all Nigerians to pray for Buhari's quicker recovery in the "hope for a better and stronger Nigeria".
