Donald Trump Accuses Hillary Clinton of Collusion

In the wake of a bombshell story about Russia's meddling in the 2016 USA presidential election - and persistent allegations that President Trump's campaign may have colluded with Russian Federation to win - Trump took to Twitter Sunday morning to accuse someone else of collusion: his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton. Is she allowed to so collude? CNN explained that Trump referred to nearly 20,000 hacked Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails, released by WikiLeaks in 2016, in which supporters of Sanders complained about the party favoring the former secretary of state.

Trump has contradicted himself on a regular basis since taking office and during the presidential campaign.

Drutman's data suggested that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders voters were largely aligned on economic issues, and that the 2016 election was decided by issues of culture and identity, rather than economics.

US President Donald Trump referred to US Senator Bernie Sanders as "crazy", then seemingly defended him in the same tweet. "But nobody wants to talk about that", Trump said.

His accusations come amid the deepening investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

President Donald Trump speaks during a signing ceremony for the Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017, on June 23, 2017, in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C.

For months, he decried as a "witch hunt" the assessment of 17 intelligence agencies that blame Russian Federation for meddling in the 2016 election.

The list includes contradictions by Trump on a slew of topics, like the Iraq War, NATO, the administration's travel ban, the crowd size at Trump's inauguration, and the ongoing controversy over Russia's interference in the 2016 election and the Trump campaign's possible role in it.
