Fabinho would find Manchester United switch 'very tempting'

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho attempts to bolster his midfield ahead of next season, and the 23-year-old says he would be open to working with Mourinho again after their short time together at Real Madrid.

Manchester United have moved closer to landing Fabinho from Monaco, after they agreed a fee with the Ligue 1 champions.

"I'd talk to my agent and Monaco beforehand in order for everything to be decided in the right way".

Fabinho has been speaking live on Brazilian television on Friday and the channel made a decision to do a Q+A session where fans sent in their questions for Fabinho to answer. "We like Manchester United and the work of [Jose] Mourinho, but we have a little soft spot for City", Fabinho's father Joao told French television programme Telefoot, as quoted by Sky Sports. "But its a great club, sure enough I would think well about it".

Benfica's Victor Lindelof has been United's only summer acquisition to date and Press Association Sport understands the club intend to make three or four high-quality additions in total.

That only leaves a striker remaining before Mourinho attempts to build the rest of his team, with Alvaro Morata expected to fill that space on the Portuguese's shopping list in the coming weeks. He scored 22 goals in 47 matches in all competitions last season.

The Brazil global has been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho took over the reins at the 20-time English champions.
