Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Retail Release Could Be Happening

First the Gamefly listing, then Amazon, now some concrete evidence to back it up.

CharlieIntel.com received images of the game case, sourced from United States shop Target, with a 27th June release date and a $39.99 price point (we don't know how much it'll cost in the UK).

In any case there has not been any confirmation yet so do not forget to check back with us later today to see if the game has indeed been released. We'll let you know once the company drops word.

A tipster sent CharlieIntel some images of the game case, and has found some details of the possible release date of June 20th.

A standalone PS4 version of Modern Warfare Remastered has been leaked onto the internet, or more specifically its box art. Other reports indicate a June 20 release date, but both remain unconfirmed. According to the NZ retailer, the game will launch locally on June 30 for $69.99 and is available for pre-order.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is getting a standalone release, but Activision seems to be going for the sneak announcement route as they have still not given up a date yet even after E3 2017. Fortunately, it looks like this may be changed in just a couple of months time.

KitGuru Says: Modern Warfare Remastered reviewed very well and would likely have more players if it were released separately from Infinite Warfare.
