Tom Cruise is back in the pilot's seat in American Made trailer

Like for Tom Cruise's new movie "American Made".

Just recently, we found out that Tom Cruise will get back in a fighter jet for Top Gun: Maverick.

American Made is one of two upcoming Tom Cruise movies with director Doug Liman, and it tells the (relatively) true story about a pilot and a hustler who takes on a job for the Central Intelligence Agency.

American Made (formerly known as Mena) is based on a true story and follows Tom Cruise as a commercial airline pilot turned smuggler in the film from The Bourne Identity director Doug Liman.

"My name's Barry Seal", explains Cruise in a voiceover.

Have a look at the trailer below. I like anti-heroes and I love this character Barry Seal, who is basically playing the C.I.A. against Pablo Escobar against The White House against the Drug Enforcement Agency. Not to mention his frantic suburban landing where Barry emerges from the plane covered in cocaine.

But which one really has Barry's loyalty? American Made will reunite actor and auteur following their work on the underrated Edge of Tomorrow, and the likes of Domhnall Gleeson, Jesse Plemons, and Sarah Wright are along for the ride, too.

And we can't wait to find out more about the CIA's favourite drugs mule. Gary Spinelli wrote the screenplay.

Tragedy struck the production of American Made last September when two pilots who had been working on the film were killed and another seriously injured in an air crash in Colombia.
