'Evil losers' carried out deadly Manchester attack

The perpetrators behind the Manchester bombings are "losers", President Donald Trump declared at a press conference in the Middle East.

"So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives, murdered by evil losers", he said at ameeting with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

Children were among 22 people killed and dozens injured in the suspected suicide bombing on Monday night at a pop concert by USA star Ariana Grande in Britain's deadliest extremist attack in 12 years. " I will call them losers from now on - because that is what they are - losers", he said. I will call them from now on 'losers, ' because that's what they are.

"Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed, we cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people", he added.

"The two leaders agreed that this attack-which targeted teenage children and their friends at a joyous event-was particularly wanton and depraved", a readout of the call provided by the White House stated. And I mean completely obliterated. "All civilized nations must join together to protect human life and the sacred right of our citizens to live in safety and in peace".

And he pledged that the United States stood "in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom".

He said, "I extend my deepest condolences to those so terribly injured in this terrorist attack and to the many killed and the families - so many families - of the victims".

Manchester police say an apparent suicide bomber set off an improvised explosive device at the end of the concert.

Theresa May, the Prime Minister immediately reacted and has also just delivered an address in front of her 10, Downing Street residence, condemning the attack as "cold" and "calculated"; the "worst to hit the North of England".

"We have been treating this as a terrorist incident and we believe that while the attack last night was conducted by one man, the priority is to establish whether he was acting alone or as part of a network", Hopkins said.

While the identity of those who plotted and carried out the attack has not been confirmed, ISIS has claimed responsibly, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, an organization that monitors extremist activity.
