Could the Star Wars movies continue beyond Episode IX?

The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story has been written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan.

Lucasfilm's new Force for Change campaign video through Omaze features Star Wars legend Warwick Davis (Return of the Jedi, Willow) taking fans on a guided tour of the Han Solo set... well, sort of.

While the films in the main Star Wars saga get most of the attention, and deservedly so, we'll admit we have a soft spot for the standalone movies.

It had been widely expected that we would have seen a Boba Fett or Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off announced by now, but what with Josh Trank exiting the Fett picture and it being frozen in carbonite temporarily, there's still no progress on either.

She hints that they would most likely make the announcement in the next few months, saying, "My hope would be sometime around the summer".

Stay tuned for more on Force For Change and Phil Lord and Chris Miller's Young Han Solo movie as we get closer to its release on May 25th, 2018. I never want to predict the creative process because it is its own thing, so we're in the midst of those discussions right now.

As far as the numbered sequels go, it is planned to be a trilogy much like the two trilogies before them. We're asking those questions right now. Can you imagine getting to see those vending machines in person?

As mentioned, starting today, fans can visit Omaze.com/StarWars to donate as little as $10 for chance to win the chance to visit of set of the upcoming Han Solo movie and have the chance to appear in the film!
