Jimmy Fallon, Harry Styles 'snap to it' in new 'SNL' promo

As Styles had kiwifruit ready for fans before his Saturday Night Live taping, it seems more than likely that he'll be performing new track "Kiwi" on the show.

The former boy-bander pulled double duty during the Jimmy Fallon-hosted episode by fulfilling his musical guest duties with performances of his new singles, "Sign of the Times" and "Ever Since New York", along with appearing in a couple of tonally appropriate skits.

Check it out now.

He even dressed like the rock star, donning an unbuttoned white shirt and jacket during an episode of America's famous Saturday Night Live show.

Then, he performed Ever Since New York, a song some fans believe could be about Taylor Swift. Favorite son Jimmy Fallon is back at the helm of the show tonight, hosting for the third time.

Kenan Thompson reprised his Steve Harvey impression for another edition of "Family Feud", which this time featured a time-travel premise: stars of today face off against stars of the 1970s.

"Solo? Why would anyone in a successful band want to go solo?" he joked while dressed as the Rolling Stones frontman.

Harry Styles was also shown dancing in the opening of the show. During the series' entire 42 year history, SNL has actually only been live for the East Coast, with other time zones watching the show on delay after the nightly 11pm news.

The chorus repeats, "Oh, tell me something I don't already know".

With credit to Styles, he showed off nearly all of the Rolling Stones frontman's signature mannerisms like being unable to stand still, pouting his lips, pointing his fingers, etc. SNL even poked fun at Styles' solo effort from One Direction, with him saying, "Solo?" Fallon will host "Saturday Night Live" on April 15, 2017.
