Lady Gaga Drops Surprise Single 'The Cure' After Electrifying Coachella 2017 Performance

"I remember when I released this album, it caused so much trouble", she told the crowd of Born This Way.

Lady Gaga debuted her brand new song #TheCure tonight at Coachella!

By Sunday morning, the new song was available for purchase. "And if you say you're OK / I'm gonna heal you anyway / Promise I'll always be there / Promise I'll be the cure".

The song has a summer vibe to it, and unlike some of Gaga's previous releases, it is extremely radio friendly.

Gaga stepped in to perform in the place of Beyonce, who had to pull out of the California-based music event due to being pregnant with twins. She also performed Telephone, her 2009 collaboration with the insane in Love hitmaker, and reportedly fell silent during Beyonce's parts on the song. Gaga premiered the song about halfway through her performance and, judging by Gaga's "The Cure" lyrics, it may be somewhat of a dedication to her fans.

"Be in the audience as Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga film scenes on the actual Coachella stages", reads the ticketing announcement. Get excited, because we EXCLUSIVELY learned what Gaga has in store, & you'll love it! And for hardcore Gaga fans, it could be well-worth shelling out for ahead of her massive Joanne World Tour, which kicks off in Vancouver Aug. 1.
