'Thor: Ragnarok' trailer features Thor facing off against the Hulk

The very first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok has arrived, giving us the first glimpse at what Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk have been up to since Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Thor immediately lights up and yells, "Yes!" before turning to the crowd and shouting, "We know each other!"

Check out Hela's hammer-crushing debut in the Thor: Ragnarok trailer below.

Also starring Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Karl Urban, and Anthony Hopkins, Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters on November 3rd.

In a humorous moment, Thor is forced into a ring to fight gladiator-style - only to discover his opponent is The Hulk.

"It's got more heart, humour and fun than a bag of marshmallows", star Chris Hemsworth has said of Thor: Ragnarok. Meanwhile, Blanchett's death-obsessed villain, Hela, sets in motion a series of events that endanger all of Asgard and its inhabitants.

In the first teaser-trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, our Asgardian hero isn't in the best shape, right from the start. Though let's be honest, this teaser trailer ends with the ultimate stinger when a seemingly depressed and powerless Thor first encounters his former Avengers pal in the Grandmaster's arena. As you can see in the trailer we've included below, Thor is extremely happy to see his old friend. There isn't going to be a true-to-the-comics inclusion of Hulk in the movie but it will try to merge the Ragnarok arc with the Planet Hulk story arc.

And now we know why: Neither character had time to show up for the epic airport battle in last year's Captain America: Civil War.
