The forecast lists a 50 percent chance of rain overnight Friday. New rainfall amounts of up to a quarter of an inch are expected.

A chance of rain showers tonight, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 9 p.m. and midnight; cloudy, with a low around 32.

Wind speeds were expected to increase to 20 to 38 miles per hour, with gusts up to 45 miles per hour, early Friday morning, according to the forecast. New precipitation between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

TODAY: Cullman County weather will be 20° cooler today (high 60°) than yesterday with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Low in the lower 60s.

Rain might return on Monday, when the high will reach the lower 70s. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

While most areas stay clear, the wind will push moisture across the TN border, allowing for some accumulating snow in the mountains Thursday night.
