Will Conor McGregor Fight in the UFC Again?

He's 28 years old.

It is a present either son will forget in a hurry. Money is not the only thing he cares about, at all.

For now, it appears the next time we see Conor McGregor will be in a boxing ring facing Mayweather.

Dates in June and September have been touted for what could be the richest fight in combat sport history, but UFC welterweight contender Nelson is unsure if the Dubliner's return to MMA will be a sure thing.

Mayweather laid his cards on the table last month by officially coming out of retirement placing the ball well and truly in the Irishman's court.

If you followed the negotiations for the "Fight of the Century" between Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio, you probably won't hold out too much hope over McGregor securing his diamond-encrusted panty night anytime soon. The Mayweather fight is right there for the taking.

"The difference between punching and kicking is sizable and McGregor closes that difference in a spectacular way".

Most predictions for the touted fight are that Mayweather will win convincingly, however UFC president Dana White isn't so sure.

As far as the fight itself, I think Conor might be in trouble.

"That's the insane thing about the fight business".

Plenty of fight fans were elated, and upset, at the news before most caught on that it was merely an April Fools joke.

"There's no guarantees. Conor is 27, Floyd is 40".

Schaub has been retired for a few years now, he currently hosts the Big Brown Breakdown podcast and co-hosts The Fighter & The Kid podcast. He has knockout power.

This column is less about the fight and more about the production. "The guy in Brazil that Aldo used is similar", Schaub said. "He's unorthodox and Mayweather needs an unorthodox striker to get ready for McGregor".
