Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure expects exit, open to United

Yaya Toure's Manchester City career looks set to come to an end this summer but he might not be leaving the city, with his agent Dimitri Seluk suggesting a move to rivals Manchester United could happen.

'If we get a good offer from another club we will sign immediately, ' Seluk told Sky Sports ahead of City's clash with Liverpool at the weekend. "But we can not wait until the last minute".

"We know what we want, the fans as well, the club, the chairman, and what I have to do is my best, try to achieve everything and to help this club for as long as possible". Now we have three options.

"I was talking with him most of the time and people were not seeing that on the screen". He will play in Europe. "I've talked with clubs from Spain and Italy as well".

"Clubs from England waited for the situation with Manchester City, but now we can speak in England".

Asked if he would be interested in United, Seluk said: "Why not? Why not! I know José Mourinho very well and Yaya has previously played with Ibrahimovic in Barcelona".

'If Manchester United make an offer I'll negotiate, no problem'.

Toure apologised publically for Seluk's comments and marked his City recall with a match-winning brace at Crystal Palace. He was, however, left out of the side for Wednesday's Champions League loss at Monaco.

Manchester City's Yaya Toure. From the beginning of the season until now we have always showed we want to attack and score goals, that is the most important thing.

The Manchester City star's contract runs out this summer. They don't say anything; he must stay or he must go.
