Packers sign Perry to 5-year deal

Martellus Bennett has found a new home.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Bennett will be teaming up with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay in 2017 in what should be one of the most dominant QB/TE duos in the NFL.

The Packers are well aware of the damage Martellus Bennett can do as a pass-catching tight end. Last year, he had a career-high 50 receptions for 499 yards and two touchdowns. The former New England Patriot, paired with one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the National Football League could put the green and gold in the drivers seat in the NFC.

"I wanted another chance to make a run at it".

Bennett also told the team website that he "hated playing against" Rodgers but can't wait to be on the receiving end of his passes this season.

Bennett all but confirmed the signing by sharing an Instagram photo of himself wearing a Packers hat, on his 30th birthday, no less.

"J.C.is a very athletic center who played in Green Bay and did a good job for them", said Browns Head Coach Hue Jackson.

Let's look at some potential targets for the Packers. Adding another weapon, a 6-foot-7-inches and 250 pounds weapon will cause defenses all kinds of problems trying to defend the Packers spread offense.

Hyde was tremendous during the second half of last season.

Griffin wasn't the only departure as the Browns lost wide receiver Terrelle Pryor in free agency to Washington. It's a standard three-year, $21 million, based on how contracts are typically valued and digested.

Green Bay's primary concern is at running back.
