Everton Bash West Brom As Bournemouth, Hull Win

Everton cruised past a lacklustre West Bromwich Albion by a 3-0 scoreline at Goodison Park on Saturday to increase their chances of continental qualification for next season.

Even the season when he was on loan at Everton in 2013-14 saw him score 15 in the league when he had just emerged out of his teens.

Romelu Lukaku's header wrapped up the victory in the closing stages but Pulis said his team were unfortunate to go in at the break two goals down.

That situation has been frustrating for Everton who, despite just one defeat in the league this year, haven't managed to move any higher than seventh place.

West Brom enjoyed a little more time on the front foot after the interval, but they never had Everton looking particularly uncomfortable.

45' - GOAL! Everton 2-0 West Brom: Schneiderlin grabs his first goal for Everton after lifting the ball over the keeper following a late run into the box.

But Everton finally found their range in the 39th minute.

A major priority will be discussions with both midfielder Ross Barkley and striker Romelu Lukaku about continuing their playing careers with Everton.

And Schneiderlin doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time - prodding past Foster after latching on to Lukaku's precise reverse pass.

And the visitors did at least get a shot on goal six minutes after the break, but Joel Robles pushed away Nacer Chadli's 25-yard effort with relative ease.

AND we'll also have a competition for a chance to win two tickets to the Republic of Ireland's sold out World Cup qualifier against Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Friday March 24th.

With Hull, Burnley, Leicester and Watford all still to visit Merseyside, that tally could be much more impressive by the end of the campaign.

Gueye fired a shot off the base of the post in stoppage time with the last shot of the match before referee Graham Scott called time on another definitive home win for Everton.
