WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan Coming Out of Retirement for One More Match?

On this week's episode of WWE Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan hinted at wrestling again once his WWE contract expires in a year and a half. Bryan doesn't have much of a filter, so when WWE gives him a live mic on the show he usually spits out more than a few memorable lines.

The Miz mocked Daniel Bryan's injury on Talking Smack once again, a recurring theme on the show since late previous year. While it's unlikely that WWE will clear Bryan to wrestle by next year, Meltzer noted that one of Bryan's goals has been to work in CMLL and to do an angle building to a hair vs. hair match at their anniversary show. "We'll see in a year and a half, we'll see what happens", Bryan told The Miz on Talking Smack.

Daniel Bryan wasn't one of the bulked-up musclemen that Vince McMahon traditionally favored, but rather a man of short stature and slight build by classical WWE standards.

"If they would let me come back, I would come back", Bryan said.

Daniel Bryan is doing a fantastic job as the general manager of SmackDown Live.

Daniel Bryan is going to be a father soon and he has to think about his future family with Brie Bella. The 35-year-old superstar had more than ten undocumented concussions during his career and it could lead to a disease like CTE later in life. Yet he would time and again prove his doubters wrong, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX in 2014, then the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 31 the year after. "It's a means for the heel to land a low blow on the popular GM". When Bryan retired from wrestling in 2016, it was because the WWE would not clear him for in-ring action due to his extensive head injuries, but he has repeatedly suggested that he might leave the company and go wrestle somewhere else where he would be allowed to compete.
