Gerber Recalls Cheese Raviolis Due Missing Egg Allergen Warning

While egg is listed as an ingredient, the "Contains" section of the label does not list "egg" as required.

The company says its Cheese Ravioli Pasta Picks Ups contain egg, but that's not listed in the "Contains" statement on the label for products with UPC 159070.

This voluntary recall impacts all packages of the Cheese Ravioli variety of Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups®. All other Gerber products, including other Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups® varieties, are appropriately labeled.

There have been no illnesses reported, and the recall does not affect any other Gerber products.

According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the recall is being done because egg is not listed on the product's "contains", statement.

Parents of children with egg allergies are being urged by a major baby food company to double check one of their products.

Parents who have questions can contact Gerber 24/7 at 1-800-510-7494.
