Pregnant South Carolina woman films impersonation of April the Giraffe

An expectant mother from SC has gone viral after sharing a video on Facebook re-enacting the live video feed of April the Giraffe.

To celebrate and to mark her recent obsession with the video, she recreated the live stream and post it on Facebook. Millions have been glued to their computer screens as the actual giraffe, in captivity at a NY zoo, prepares to have her calf. She walked around her bedroom for about eight minutes wearing the giraffe mask, and the result was absolutely hilarious.

A webcam featuring April the giraffe began streaming February 24 at Animal Adventure Park in NY, but the calf is taking longer than expected. She takes a break to sit in a chair and even dances during the whole thing. She's been obsessed with watching April, and her and her friends thought it would be fun to mimic the giraffe.

According to Dietrich's Facebook page, she owns her own photography company and lives in Myrtle Beach, though is originally from Middletown, New York.

As of noon Monday, the video had over 10 million views and 235,000 shares.

As she watched along with millions of others waiting for the birth of April's calf, it must have started to seem like both she and April would be pregnant forever!

Lindsay challenged Chris to be pregnant for 24 hours.

"It was my husband's idea to order a mask off Amazon and my idea to do a live feed last night to look like April's", she told HuffPost. She'll be a heart warrior at Cleveland Clinic Children's.
