QB Mitch Trubisky measures up at National Football League combine

The NFL Combine is full of skill challenges that test a players' athleticism, so the Browns chose to go in a different route during the interview process. "I have a lot of pride of where I'm from that being my hometown, but no matter what team selects me I'm going to be super excited".

Go ahead, ignore the P.E.A. (Pink Eye Academy, created by me, the self-proclaimed QB whisperer) that has a proven track record of hits with nailing mid-round gems such as Russell Wilson and Dak Prescott. It's been a dream come true.

The offseason is never boring in the NFL, and this week it's time for the NFL Combine, the annual spandex parade that means just a little less every season. Mike Silver of the NFL Network later had something a little different to say, which we'll touch on tonight. He is also just 21 years old and one of the best athletes in this year's draft class. That's a question everybody's asking. "I think that's everyone's goal and dream".

Of the 330 invited players, 14 (four percent) hail from North Carolina universities and colleges. "I've seen all the headlines out there, but I can't comment on that". They enter free agency next week with about $100 million to spend, more than any National Football League rival's room under a salary cap of $167 million per team, and needs at quarterback. "But definitely the best way for me to excel my game is to be in there and play". "I feel I'm in a really good spot right now to take my game to the next level and I feel really confident".

North Carolina Athletics UNC quarterback Mitch Trubisky prepares for a snap during the 2016 season. And it's been a good process so far.

There's plenty that makes sense about Trubisky going to Cleveland. I think that has helped me in my decision-making.

"I think it's too soon (to rank them)", Jackson said.

"I think a guy has to be about 6-2 to play in this league, " Jackson said.

"We want to have him here long term as opposed to kind of a one-year temporary option", Brown said.

Even though things have been quiet on the talks, there was good cause for optimism that the two sides could work out a deal to keep Pryor on the squad.

"I was prepared really well at North Carolina by coach Heckendorff the quarterbacks coach", Trubisky said Friday during his media session at the NFL Scouting Combine. And we never gave up.

"I made some mistakes, but we came back, put a drive together and we were nearly able to take it into overtime", he said. The Bengals' asking price for McCarron is not low, but if Cleveland is not able to land their desired quarterback in the first round of the draft, a trade for McCarron could become a real possibility.
