Pep sad for Barca's 'perfect coach'

Luis Enrique has announced he will step down as Barcelona's head coach at the end of the season. "After this season it will be good for me to get some rest". It was a very hard decision for me, very well-thought out. It was Koeman's goal that helped them win it and the club are planning 25th anniversary celebrations for the achievement later this year.

"We want to finish the season successfully, enjoy what is left of it and bring him the most possible titles. The players are motivated to make sure that happens".

He plays an attacking brand of football with his Bilbao side and could also continue bringing out the best in Barcelona's attacking trio Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar. Only the two greatest coaches in Barca's history - Pep Guardiola and Johan Cruyff - have won more.

He initially signed a two-year deal before agreeing a one-year extension at the end of a first season in which he won the treble. The reason is that in my work I am constantly looking for solutions and that means I get no time to rest, I need to rest and that's my main reason [for leaving].

LUIS ENRIQUE has announced he will leave Barcelona in the summer.

The three forwards were on target against Sporting, Barca's first big win since their harrowing 4-0 defeat to Paris St Germain in the Champions League, and Ivan Rakitic said the team are determined to give the coach a fitting send off.

"I have been here for 20 years and I had many times the opportunity to leave so I don't think I have to convince you that my preference has always been Arsenal", said Wenger. "In one of them, we are in a hard situation but if the stars align, we will have a chance to turn it around". He earned a two-year extension on the back of his monumental debut season as Barcelona looked to have found the flawless replacement to Pep Guardiola.

He spoke a few words about the club, fans and the organization, saying that his time at Camp Nou was incredible, praising all of the above mentioned.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that Luis Enrique's announcement could have a similar effect - even if their chances in the Champions League this season may already have evaporated.

His other titles with Barcelona include the 2015 UEFA Super Cup and the 2016 Spanish Super Cup, as well as the 2015 Club World Cup.

"Now we depend on us even though we have very hard matches left".
