Allegiant offers nonstop routes from Indy to Austin, TX and Destin, FL

Allegiant, known for its low fares and extra fees, caters nearly exclusively to leisure travelers, with flights to a half-dozen destinations in Florida, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach and other popular vacation spots.

According to information released by the airline, the flights begin May 25 with introductory fares for $59* one way.

Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida via Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS): seasonal service begins May 24 with fares starting at $65. All routes will operate twice weekly.

With this addition, Allegiant will have 11 routes served out of CLE.

"What's not to like about the white sands of the Florida Panhandle?" said Brian Weiler, director of the Springfield airport.

"We're very excited to announce new service to Destin today, adding a fifth nonstop destination to our Kansas City service", said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer.

Two additional nonstop flights are coming to Indianapolis International Airport.

Allegiant stressed that seats are limited and must be purchased by January 13, 2017 for travel between May 12, 2017 and August 15, 2017.
