Alec Baldwin trolls Donald Trump again

Alec Baldwin doesn't need to be on stage during Saturday Night Live to make fun of Donald Trump.

Mr Trump has unnerved the United States political and intelligence establishment with his friendly overtures to Russian President Vladmir Putin.

"We have enough problems around the world without yet another one".

Mr Trump turned to his favourite form of communication, Twitter, to give critique of Baldwin's performance.

On Saturday, Trump defended his relationship with Russian Federation, claiming that "only stupid people" would not support the relationship. "When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!"

While Trump didn't exactly respond to Baldwin' Instagram photo, it's possible that his latest tweets about befriending Russian Federation might have been prompted by it.

On one such occasion, Baldwin offered up a compromise on what would get him to stop the impersonation, which would be if the president-elect would reveal his tax returns. He did it again in a tweet Saturday.

But the soon-to-be POTUS does not find Baldwin's portrayal amusing.

But the parody struck a sour note with the Republican, who has slammed the show on social media as "boring and unfunny".

"By comparison to the ratings machine, DJT", he added.
