Packers finish off Texans in 4th

The Houston Texans and the Green Bay Packers are scheduled to face off on Sunday in a big game for Week 13 of the National Football League 2016 season that is packed with Playoff implications for both teams. Rodgers did not look completely healthy in this game, but he was able to escape pressure and pick up some chunk gains with his legs. The Lions are now 8-4 with a two-game lead on both the Packers and Minnesota Vikings (6-6), who lost Thursday to the Dallas Cowboys (11-1). With three minutes left in the game, Houston had more success running the ball (4.6 yards per carry) than throwing it (4.5 yards per pass).

Rodgers didn't move out of the pocket often, but he did on his first touchdown pass of the day, a 9-yarder to Randall Cobb midway through the second quarter. Aaron Rodgers completed 30 of 39 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Packers.

After roasting Aaron Rodgers for weeks, it seems like those on the interwebs are back in the wheelhouse of the Packers quarterback after Cheese Nation got their second straight win on Sunday.

Rodgers suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 12 victory over Philadelphia, but didn't miss a down and finished the evening with a 76.9 completion percentage.

"We're exhausted of being close, we really are as a team". Carolina plays Seattle Sunday night, with Indianapolis at the Jets Monday.

The defense allowed the Texans only one first down before forcing a Shane Lechler punt that was downed at the Green Bay 2.

"There's no time to get discouraged", quarterback Brock Osweiler said.

Texans tight end Ryan Griffin fumbled on Houston's opening series, giving the Packers the ball at the Texans 24-yard line. In the receiving end, DeAndre Hopkings posted 70 yards in five receptions while Wil Fuller V added 60 yards in four catches.

"I feel like we're very close to exploding as an offense", Osweiler said, via ProFootballTalk.

Can the Green Bay Packers run the table?

"We go back a long ways and he made some big plays for us", Rodgers told CBS Sports. Don't be critical of him. Nick Perry was forced out of the game early with a hand injury and returned with his left hand clubbed up to finish and Clay Matthews, with a badly bruised shoulder, also gritted his teeth to do what he could.
