Game between Kings and 76ers postponed due to condensation

The Sixers might want to look into pre-programming the thermostat at the Wells Fargo Center before their next game.

Unfortunately, it was determined the best decision would be to postpone the game, which prompted the Kings to jokingly take a shot at the Sixers.

The playing surface was unsafe during the pregame warm-ups. Yesterday, DeMarcus Cousins sparked debate about one day reuniting with John Wall and Eric Bledsoe and put an emphasis on it being in Sacramento.

"Everybody would see the impact that Joel has when he is on the floor", Brown said.

After the shootaround, arena employees attempted to wipe down the surface with towels and mops. The Sixers tried everything they could to get the game tipped off before 8pm, wet mopping and then dry mopping the floor.

The floor was so slippery, Robert Covington said, some players didn't want to go through their warmup routines. "This is a different situation". I'm glad that's the route they took. A package featuring a future Brooklyn Nets first-round pick and one or more players from Boston's young core - most likely Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder or Jaylen Brown - should be enough to sway Sacramento.

Embiid, who leads the 76ers - and all National Basketball Association rookies - in scoring (18.2 points per game), rebounding (7.8) and 3-point percentage (.500), said the minutes increase came after a scan showed his right foot is holding up to the demands of National Basketball Association play.

"Playing on a slick floor, that's a risk that's waiting to happen", Covington said. Who knows, though, maybe they're just joking around.

The Celtics made a big splash last July by signing Horford, but that alone is not going to move them alongside the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. "Those are all things we're going to investigate so it doesn't happen again".
