Canadian Official Rips MLB All-Star Singer ... You Disrespected Our Anthem!

It was only a week ago when we proposed that O Canada be replaced with The Maple Leaf Forever as the national anthem but Pereira's misdirected act was cruel and unusual punishment.

The group's harsh response comes in the wake of a harsh response to the "all lives matter" message, which some call bigoted. Instead, he went with: "We're all brothers and sisters".

To quote Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza, "When we deploy "all lives matter" as to correct an intervention specifically created to address anti-blackness, we lose the ways in which the state apparatus has built a program of genocide and repression mostly on the backs of black people".

Forget that All Lives Matter is ridiculous in its own right, but is this the time or the place to make that statement? Black Lives Matter has sparked a major dialogue in the U.S.in recent weeks, after the police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile and the massacre of five Dallas police officers who were working at a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest.

The group has achieved significant worldwide success, with a multi-content tour, performing with renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli and sharing the stage with such luminaries as American music legend Quincy Jones, Canadian producer-composer David Foster and former US president Bill Clinton.

"I've been so moved lately by the tragic loss of life and I hoped for a positive statement that would bring us ALL together. I love you all", he said in closing.

"I don't agree with black people dying".

They also shared articles and opinions on the Flat Earth movement, minds being "manipulated and destroyed via GMO poisonous foods", and "chemical spraying of our skies". The posts have since been deleted.

Although the audio wasn't crystal-clear at the park, many fans reacted with surprise.

What do you think about the change to Canada's anthem?!

The group said they were unaware of Mr Remigio 's plans to change the anthem.

The group blamed member Remigio Pereira for altering the lyrics.

"Our honest apologies and regrets go out to everybody who witnesses this shameful act", the group wrote.

Victor Micallef and Fraser Walters say they feel shattered that years of hard work has been threatened by the actions of Pereira, who they say gave no indication of his plans during a rehearsal earlier in the day Tuesday.

The Juno Award-winning group has recorded multiple platinum albums in Canada while performing around the world.
