Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to Be Released on August 2

That's when the company confirmed that it will be hosting an Unpacked event on August 2, which would herald the arrival of the Galaxy Note 7, or the date of its reveal.

Opening up about the reason why "it's called Galaxy Note 7 instead of Galaxy Note 6", a post on Samsung Newsroom explains there are a couple of reasons behind the company's rather unconventional decision.

The next project of Galaxy note series which was initially Galaxy Note 6 skipped to Galaxy Note 7.

Also, keeping the iPhone 7 launch in September in mind, Samsung would love to give the Galaxy Note 7 a good enough time to establish its dominance in the market and hence this haste in the release.

Even though the Galaxy Note 7 will indeed make the headlines, many buyers might end up settling for the two-year contracts offered on major carriers as they look to avoid the hefty price tag of the phablet.

Samsung seems to be readying its new Note 7, and to ensure that it has its own set of tech and gimmicks to counter the much anticipated iPhone 7, it is apparently equipping the bestseller phablet with insane specs and a few interesting tricks.

Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is in the pipeline, there have been speculations about the device featuring an iris scanner.

Galaxy Note 7 has surfaced online again. The users are waiting eagerly to know the features of galaxy Note 7 as there were some rumors behind the specifications of Galaxy Note 7.

All the users should note that there is a bunch of other smart phones will be released after Galaxy Note 7. More rumors will likely pop up in the coming days, with just over two weeks left before Samsung takes the wraps off its newest smartphone. Sounds fair enough, and probably a sound maneuver considering Samsung has gone with its dual-flagship approach (Galaxy S and Galaxy Note) for quite some time now. Some reports claimed that aside from the fingerprint scanner, Samsung will be introducing an iris scanner in the new device.

As to the specs, the Galaxy Note 7 will coe with a 5.7-inch QHD display with Super AMOLED panel.

"With added functionality of the S Pen and large screen, the Galaxy Note7 is a powerful instrument for achievement and self-expression, and is made for those who want to get the most from their phones - and their lives".
