Holly Holm calls out Dana White: 'I wanted to fight'

It's been reported that The Expendables actress would not do a rematch with Holly Holm in UFC 200 due to an upcoming movie role, but Rousey's priorities may have changed now that Miesha Tate is the titleholder.

Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino insists she took no personal satisfaction when Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in November, despite the frequently biting barbs that Rousey had tossed her way and tweeting a smiley face moments after Holm knocked out Rousey.

"Yeah, [Lenny]'s been nothing but supportive for me and my career", she said. Of course, if I had it my way I'd like to be able to avenge my loss, because that's the thing that put a bitter taste in my mouth right now. It does honestly make me a little uncomfortable to watch athletes box without real boxing gloves and kick each other in the head.

"I see a highly competitive Ronda Rousey, I always see that person".

However, with the fight between Rousey and Tate likely to be scheduled for later this year, Holm has still not decided who she wants to fight in the meantime. "She should have taken the loss as an opportunity to reevaluate things".

Holm further added that she doesn't fight for money.

And clearly enjoying her new found fame, Ronda happily stopped to say hi to a couple of police officers who recognized her, shaking their hands and exchanging pleasantries. "So yeah, it's frustrating, because it was something that I wanted and it's something that [Fresquez] pushed for [afterwards]". For Holly Holm, it does not matter but if she would have her way, she prefers the latter. I truly believe for her own peace of mind, that will be the best, otherwise she is going to grow old and realize she made a mistake. "I've got a contract signed and it's not really my job to pick who's next". Who would you most like to see her fight next? But, I do still want to fight.

And with Rousey no longer the champion, she doesn't see a need to and in the process potentially harm her body.
