Microsoft may soon allow you to "sell back" digital Xbox One games

Microsoft kicked off a one-week Spring sale for it's Xbox One console. $50 would be discounted from every Xbox one point this including the division bundle that is the 500gb name your game bundles and the quantum break bundle would be available from next month. The company will, starting from this Tuesday, avail great deals on quite a number of Xbox One and PC games, movies as well as TV shows from the Xbox Store.

"If the console digital games store for the console you owned offered customers the option to "sell back" their digital games to the store for 10 per cent of the purchase price in store credit, would you be interested in such an offer?"

As mentioned, the Xbox Spring Sale deal will not just be affecting the hardware side of the gaming console, but also the software side of things. Giving it to the members of the Xbox Live Games with Gold program would cost them less effort by just providing it straight for free through the Xbox One backward compatibility feature.

This would be the best time for players to get big-name games like "Fallout 4", "Halo 5 Guardians", "Far Cry Primal" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3". Steam, however, effectively turned these sellers into dinosaurs, as it offers lots of older games at dirt-cheap prices, and allows you to easily download those titles. That's because used game sales are big business for retailers, with profit margins typically higher than a new boxed copy sale, especially when you consider the same game can be sold multiple times over its lifetime.

Xbox Live Games With Gold offers 2 free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360 each month.
